Research shows that just 30 minutes in nature increases productivity. You can achieve this by incorporating activities such as hiking, forest bathing, outdoor geocaching, and birding with our professional naturalists as guides to elevate your next meeting.
We can tailor outdoor and wellness activities to suit your organization’s gathering, energizing your team, dependent on availability. With the rental of either our intimate conference room or spacious auditorium, your schedule could kick off by bringing in coffee and breakfast treats for your team and gathering for your first meeting. As the day continues and the ideas flow, take a break for a rejuvenating Schlitz Audubon activity. Meet back in your private space for a catered lunch ordered from one of our recommended catering partners and get back to work for another business activity or team excursion. Finish the day with a recap and send your team home with family guest passes for complimentary admission to the Center!
Customize Your Day with These Add-ons
Forest Bathing
Add an immersive sensory experience that allows participants to look at the forest in a different way than during a typical guided hike. The experience combines concepts of meditation and mindfulness through a series of guiding invitations.

Team Building Geocaching
Offer your event attendees a bit of fun outdoors with this high-tech treasure hunt. Schlitz Audubon provides GPS units to navigate and find our cache spots set up in various habitats along our many hiking trails.

Guided Hike
Led by one of our knowledgeable naturalists, guided hikes are tailored to your group’s interests and vary by season. Boardwalks and accessible trails are available.

Raptor Meet and Greet
There are many ways to incorporate a visit from our raptors into your special event or business meeting. Invite owls, hawks, falcons, and even a Bald Eagle to mingle among your guests. We strive to create a unique experience for your gathering, tailored to your needs.

Reptile & Amphibian Encounter
Take a break and meet with a few of our live reptile and amphibian ambassadors, including turtles, frogs, and snakes. Learn from our naturalists about their habitat, unique features, and lifestyle.

Educational Programming
Enhance your meeting with an interactive presentation on Wisconsin nature topics, from birds and butterflies to trees and prairies.

Amenities
Your team will enjoy time in either rented spaces: our Auditorium or Conference Room – or both. These spaces are perfect for activities of different sizes.
- The Auditorium includes 5’x30” tables and chairs, set up in a large U-shape, classroom style, or in long pods. The room also offers an easy-to-use sound system and screen/projector.
- The conference room includes 5’x30″ tables and chairs, a gas fireplace, and the opportunity to rent a modern, easy-to-use mobile tech screen for presentations
- Cater a meal through one of our preferred caterers or choose your own drop-off vendor.
- Event staff are always available to support your retreat throughout the day.
