Conveniently located just fifteen minutes north of Milwaukee along Lake Michigan, we offer the full experience of nature throughout all seasons. Our central location, exceptional customer service, and naturally beautiful building make us an ideal location for your event. Lake Michigan’s shoreline, forests, and prairies create stunning backdrops for your celebration.
Your wedding venue rental supports all of the work we do as a nonprofit organization focused on the environment, and we are happy to provide many sustainable event options for green weddings.
Evening Wedding
Included in your rental is a 5:00pm ceremony with outdoor or inclement weather locations.

Our majestic raptors appearing at your wedding will make a lasting impression. During the cocktail hour, you can have owls, hawks, falcons, and even a Bald Eagle, mingle among your guests. Our birds of prey can be added to your wedding if their availability allows.
Please inquire about availability as soon as possible, as our raptors are not available for all dates. If booking a meet and greet is a priority for you, inquire about their availability for your date before signing your contract.

Tree Ceremony $500
Schlitz Audubon provides a bur oak tree to incorporate into your wedding ceremony. This special commemoration of your day will support the local habitat for years to come. You receive a map of your tax-deductible donated tree’s location after it is planted at the Center.
Aldo Leopold Bench $150
Our twist on the wedding guest book, we provide you with a wooden bench for your guests to sign as a keepsake, suitable for outdoor seating. After it is signed, our staff can varnish it for an additional $25.
Ceremony Arch $150
Made from ash trees felled on the property, our rustic wood log ceremony arch may be rented to provide a beautiful ceremony backdrop, suitable for hanging fabrics and floral decorations. Our macramé fabric may be rented along with our ceremony arch for an additional $25.
Cafe Lights
Our café lights are dimmable Edison-style light strings that create a simple, elegant addition to your wedding décor.

Up Lighting $400
Ten lights illuminate the eight oak pillars in the Great Hall, as well as either side of the front entrance, to add a warm glow to the ambiance of your reception. These can be rented in a variety of colors to suit your wedding style.

Our stellar team
Your supportive event team guides you through the planning process of booking spaces at Schlitz Audubon, while also offering expertise on the bar services provided through Natural Events.
Professional services include vendor coordination and check in onsite, ceremony procedure and cues, and timeline management all included in your rental.
The event department is led by Director of Corporate and Special Events Bridget Carlson working with Event Coordinator Beatrice Mohler and Event Hosts Abriana Luther, Deanie Vallone, and Nathan Desing.
