Birthday Parties Schlitz Audubon

Birthday Parties

Celebrate your child’s birthday with a nature-themed party at Schlitz Audubon! Each 2-hour party includes an intimate meet & greet with some of our live animal ambassadors and a naturalist-led guided hike through our trails. Parties are available in all seasons and are not weather-dependent.

Reptile & Amphibian Party

If your child would like turtles, snakes, toads, or salamanders at their birthday celebration, this is the party for them! Can be scheduled on weekends from 10:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-3:00pm, dependent on availability.
Members: $250  | Non-members: $275

For an additional $25, our reptile and amphibian parties can feature a ponding component between April-October.

Whimsical Woodland Party

Children ages 1-6 will play and laugh during a reading of the book Who’s in the Forest? After this interactive story time, children will meet one of our live reptiles or amphibians and then head to our Woodland Play Space for imaginative playtime. Can be scheduled on weekends from 10am-12pm or 1-3pm, dependent on availability.
Members: $250 | Non-members: $275

Raptor Parties

Raptor parties can be scheduled on weekends from 10am-12pm, dependent on availability.

Screech Owl at Midnight Hollow

Children ages 3-6 will enjoy a 45-minute storytime of the book Screech Owl at Midnight Hollow, which follows a tenacious screech owl family. Children will help tell the story with a felt board of characters and other props, followed by a visit from a live Eastern Screech Owl!
Members: $250  | Non-members: $275

Exclusively Owl

Your child will have a hoot of a party with a personalized meet and greet with our night-time hunting specialists. Visits from three of our owls are included in the party package.
Members: $275 | Non-Members: $300

Beaks & Talons

Which bird is fastest? Which has silent flight? Join us for an interactive comparison of falcons, hawks, and owls. After meeting four of our live raptor ambassadors, there will be time for questions and hands-on exploration of artifacts such as wings, feathers, and talons.
Members: $275 | Non-Members: $300

Vulture View

Explore a day in the life of nature’s clean-up crew!  An interactive story time will have children stretching their wings and discovering how vultures find and eat their food, as well as how they help keep our environment clean.  The story time is helped by a visit from the Center’s resident Turkey Vulture, Tallulah.  This party is for children ages 3-6.
Members: $250  | Non-members: $275

Eagle & Friends

With awesome power, spectacular strength, a huge wingspan, and massive talons, this “king of the wind” is the very essence of a raptor. Be amazed as a Bald Eagle headlines this party, accompanied by hawks, owls, and falcons.
Members: $375 | Non-Members: $400
