Winter Wonderland Wedding

Winter weddings at Schlitz Audubon offer a stunning embrace of Wisconsin nature and bring out all the warmth and romance of the season! Our cozy interiors feature rustic wood tones, spruce log beams, and two wood-burning stone fireplaces. We offer hearth-side or Auditorium ceremonies where you can deck out the space in your wedding style. With attractive off-season pricing, couples may enjoy a true winter wonderland with unique photoshoots on the grounds during the day.

Jon & Julie’s January wedding embraced the snowy season and lit up the Great Hall with their love! The couple got ready in our two private dressing rooms before doing a first look on the Veranda and taking advantage of the serene frost-covered landscape outdoors. Loved ones gathered inside for a beautiful ceremony in front of the fireplace. The pair exchanged vows with the fire crackling, underneath the glow of our cafe string lights. White poinsettias, greenery, and candles decorated the mantle, while matching garland hung on the chairs.

After the ceremony, guests moved into the Auditorium for cocktail hour as the Cupola transformed into the dance floor, and the Great Hall opened up for dinner. At the bar, “His” and Hers” seasonal specialty cocktails were offered to guests.

In the Great Hall, soft café string lights, up-lights, and flickering candles illuminated the space. Wreaths and artificial pine trees created the feeling of a cozy woodland cabin. Pipe and drape camouflaged the nature stores and provided an elegant backdrop. A sizzling fire kept guests warm while they enjoyed a wine pour with their buffet dinner. The evening ended with dessert, dancing, and a bubble send-off for the newlyweds!
