Schlitz Audubon Bird Club: Spring Migration
Adults, Birding Academy, Clubs, Free with Membership, Guided Hikes
Join a welcoming community of bird enthusiasts on the second Wednesday of the month. Anyone aged 14 and older who is interested in learning more about birds is welcome, regardless of prior experience. You will learn and enhance identification skills from experienced birders.
This program is hosted by Schlitz Audubon Environmental Educator Laine Cotteleer and co-hosted by Dan Panetti, former owner of Wild Birds Unlimited in Mequon. They will lead you on a hike to search for spring migrants such as colorful and musical warblers, tanagers, buntings, and more within the forests and fields.
We will meet in front of the Visitor Center to begin our walk by the Feeder Grove observation area.
This program will take place entirely outdoors.
Free to all. Registration is required. Optional donation supports habitat preservation at the Center.
