Water: We Can’t Live Without It
Water is the liquid of life and nothing can survive without this important resource. The wetlands, ponds, and Lake Michigan shoreline at Schlitz Audubon provide a unique place to learn about the water cycle. Students perform a variety of experiments while exploring parts of our 185-acre property, comprised of over 25 acres of wetlands. Take in the view of Lake Michigan from our observation tower and learn why freshwater is important and how to use it sustainably.
