Schlitz Audubon Bird Hike: Wetland Wonders

Saturday, July 19, 2025 | 8:00 am - 9:15 am

Free

Whether you’re brand new to birding or a seasoned pro, all are welcome on this guided bird walk. Learn about wonderful wading birds that call Wisconsin’s wetlands their home. We’ll search for resident piscivores, such as herons, egrets, and kingfishers, along the Central Wetlands Loop. This is a great opportunity for new birders to learn and practice bird identification.

This hike is led by Environmental Educator and experienced birder Laine Cotteleer. We will meet in front of the Visitor Center to begin our walk by the bird feeders.

This program will take place entirely outdoors.

Free to all. Registration is required. Optional donation supports habitat preservation at the Center.
