Full Super Moon Hike
RAIN DATE: Thursday, November 6 | 4:00-5:30p
The super full moon only occurs three to four times each year, and it’s a sight to behold! Make the most of it with a night hike at Schlitz Audubon, guided by its bright moonbeams. Along the way, you’ll discover why this super moon phenomenon occurs and learn about Wisconsin’s native nightlife. View the moonlit lake from atop our tower and call for owls in our southern ravine.
Environmental Educator Laine Cotteleer will show you around the Center after dark and help you experience it in all its glory. Meet her at the stone bench in front of the Visitor Center and be ready to follow the light of the moon.
This program is designed for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This program will take place entirely outdoors. In case of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled to Thursday, November 6th at the same time.
Members: $12 per person | Non-Members: $18 per person
