Wolves in Wisconsin: Perceptions, Perspectives, and Ecology

Wednesday, November 5, 2025 | 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Free

Learn about the wolves in Wisconsin and a year in the life of a pack. Through an interactive presentation and use of artifacts, David Slezewski will address human perceptions, dispel common myths and misconceptions, and share how wolves fit in Wisconsin’s ecosystems. By the end, participants will understand how perceptions affect species management, how to identify wolves and their lifecycle, and their impact on their surroundings.

David Slezewski is a volunteer carnivore tracker for the Wisconsin DNR with a focus on wolves. He has trained during Timber Wolf Alliance’s Wolf Ecology Weekend and Timber Wolf Alliance’s tracking class. He regularly attends wolf education talks and webinars, including the 2024 Great Lakes Wolf Symposium and Voyageurs Wolf Project webinars.

This program will take place entirely indoors.

Free to all. Registration is required.
