Schlitz Audubon Bird Club: Winter Adaptations

Wednesday, January 14, 2026 | 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

With winter in full swing, Wisconsin’s birds employ a variety of survival strategies. Through an informative presentation, you’ll uncover adaptations which allow birds to bring color and song to us all year long!

Schlitz Audubon Bird Club invites you to join a welcoming community of bird enthusiasts on the second Wednesday of the month. New and experienced birders will meet to learn together, discuss bird-related issues, and hike to discover birds on our trails. Our co-hosts are Environmental Educator Laine Cotteleer and Dan Panetti, former owner of Wild Birds Unlimited in Mequon.

Anyone aged 14 and older who is interested in learning more about birds, regardless of prior experience, is welcome. This is an all-indoors program.

Free to all. Optional donation supports habitat preservation at the Center. Registration required.
