Rocks Rock!

Get ready for a rockin’ good time exploring the rocks that call our Lake Michigan home! Learn about how rocks form and change through the rock cycle and how to identify different types that we find along our shoreline, including colorful granite and ancient fossils! In this guided hike led by Naturalist Aubrey Fulsaas, we’ll explore the beach and select a special rock to decorate and take home! 

This program is designed for children aged 5 and older; children must be accompanied by an adult. This program takes place entirely outdoors. In case of inclement weather, a portion of the program will take place indoors. 

Members: $17 per adult/child pair | Non-members: $23 per adult/child pair
