Paints, Pours, and Plumes
Adults, Art, Raptors, Wheelchair Accessible
Spend a relaxing evening learning how to paint a raptor! Join Artist Chelsea Beiler as she walks you through painting one of our Raptor Ambassadors, who will be present—feathers, talons, and all—as a live model! Tickets include two beverages (beer, wine, or non-alcoholic), supplies, and a canvas you can take home at the end of the night.
Artist Chelsea Beiler has fostered a lifelong love for nature and creativity, and has a deep curiosity for the world around her that she loves to explore through her work. She helps run the Milwaukee Artists community group and enjoys gardening, hiking, journaling, repairing small objects, and volunteering for the Raptor Program.
Erin Toohey, who will also be supporting this program, is a Raptor Educator and Youth Programs Lead at Schlitz Audubon. She has worked in the wildlife education and husbandry field for over 10 years, and she’s passionate about caring for and teaching with the Raptors of Schlitz Audubon. Although not an artist herself, she loves seeing each attendee’s unique creation.
