Out of the Shadows: Poetry + Art Converge
Thursdays, July 23 – July 30
Join us for two weeks of inventive play as we explore the intersection of poetry and art. In each class, we will read and write poetry inspired by the natural world, using it as the foundation for Shadow Box collages that we will fashion together. Blending our own words with visual elements collected from the field, forest, beach, or even sewing baskets and craft drawers, we’ll shape our own timeless expressions of the beauty of language and life in the world. So, step out of the shadows with us and experience the freedom of exploring poetic and craft creation!
