Twilight Family Guided Hike
RAIN DATE: Thursday, July 30 | 7:00p-8:30p
Enjoy a beautiful summer evening hike through the forest, prairie, and wetland. Learn about Wisconsin’s native nightlife and which plants are in bloom as a waxing gibbous moon guides our way. We’ll listen for the frog chorus at Mystery Lake and, if we’re lucky, may even see a few bats flittering about. We’ll conclude our evening walk from the top of our tower to witness the sunset. Your guide for the evening is Director Education Tom Finley, who has been leading programs for all ages at the Center for 25 years.
Registered participants will meet at the stone bench by the main walkway. This program is designed for all ages, with the hike being the perfect pace and distance for the little ones. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The program will take place entirely outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled to Thursday, July 30th at the same time.
Members: $12 per person | Non-members: $18 per person
