Literary Hike: The Tree Collectors by Amy Stewart

Hike through the forest and ponder tree collections while we read excerpts from The Tree Collectors by Amy Stewart. As we explore stories about peoples’ relationships to trees, we will visit locations around the property to create our own memorable experiences. This program features activities and artifacts that will encourage participants to further appreciate trees and spark ideas on how to create their own tree collection.

Your guide is Environmental Educator Cassie Rincon, who has been hugging trees, teaching ecology, and fostering forest stewardship for 11 years at the Center.
