The Plant World
Students explore our forest and prairie to discover what plants need and what they provide for us. We learn how plants use sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water in the complex process of photosynthesis. Students discover how this process is needed to sustain all life on earth. We examine our own place in the ecosystem and identify our relationship with plants in our daily lives, why we need them, and why we should value them
