Writing Wild: Flash Fiction Workshop

Nature has stories to tell—are you ready to listen? In this two-week, dynamic flash fiction workshop, we’ll explore how the natural world shapes the stories we tell. Each session will blend reading, discussion, and writing exercises designed to harness the narrative power of setting and sensory detail. By the final session, you will have crafted polished works that are rich in texture and emotion—vivid bursts of short fiction that capture the beauty, mystery, and magic of life itself.

Presenters Laura Misco and Marigold Editorial co-founder David Riordan are award-winning writers and teachers dedicated to nurturing the creative work of others. In their combined 50 years of instruction, they have guided countless writers on the path to fulfilling their goals in a multitude of genres.
