Schlitz Audubon Art Club: Sketching Fall Leaves
Adults, Art, Clubs, Free with Membership, Wheelchair Accessible
Nature has always been a great inspiration to creators, from pre-historic cave painters to contemporary artists. We welcome beginning and experienced artists to join our community to start a new project or work on an unfinished project. Each month, we will focus on a different art medium or nature theme.
Please bring your own art materials. Some general supplies may be available as well as handouts related to the theme.
Our November program will focus on the colorful fall leaves. We will go for a short hike to look at fallen leaves and bring some indoors to use as models for sketching. Your host is Environmental Educator Shelly Rollins, who has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Schlitz Audubon’s clubs provide an entry point into a welcoming community of fellow learners and enthusiasts of varying ages and experience levels. Free to all and beginner-friendly, each thematic club meets regularly, with specific topics rotating through the seasons—there’s always something new to discover! Throughout the year, meetings feature local experts and skilled volunteers, each bringing their unique knowledge and perspectives on relevant subjects.
This program will take place both indoors and outdoors.
Free to all. Registration is required. Optional donation supports habitat preservation at the Center.
