Rocks Rock!

Get ready for a rockin’ good time exploring the rocks that call our Lake Michigan home! Learn about how rocks form and change through the rock cycle, and study how to identify different types of rocks we find along our shoreline, including colorful granite and ancient fossils. In this guided hike led by Environmental Educator Aubrey Fulsaas, we will explore the beach and select a special rock to decorate and take home.
This program is designed for children aged 3 and older. Each child requires a ticket; children must be accompanied by an adult. One adult can accompany more than one child. This program will take place both indoors and outdoors.
Members: $20 per adult/child pair | Non-members: $26 per adult/child pair
