Join us as we celebrate International Vulture Awareness Day during this special Raptor Saturday. Scavenging animals are often characterized as dirty or menacing in stories. Tallulah, our Turkey Vulture, along with some of our other resident birds who are known for scavenging, are eager to share their side of the story. Not only are these birds some of the cleanest animals around, but they are also incredibly important to the overall health of our shared environment.
Your ticket includes trail access, so please feel free to come early or stay after to hike.
This program will take place outdoors at the amphitheater – please plan your arrival time accordingly. Seating will allow for social distancing but have a mask with you to be worn when you are six feet or less from others. Please do not attend if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to the virus. See our latest COVID-19 updates here.
Because this program is weather dependent, we may need to cancel due to inclement weather. Participants will be notified in advance and will still have trail access to visit the Center.
