Prairie and Meadow Wildflowers Walk
Saturday, August 16, 2025 | 9:00 am - 10:30 am
$17.00 – $23.00Explore the Center’s meadows and prairies while searching for the late summer flowers and early fall blooms that make these areas blaze with color. Using field guides and other resources, you’ll learn key identification features, what pollinators they attract, and where they are most often found. By the end of the walk, you will be able to identify various native plants and determine which ones can be incorporated into your own yard.
Environmental Educator, Master Gardener, and horticulturist Sandy Manning will lead this hike. She has been teaching different audiences about plants for many years, including within the Master Naturalist course.
This program will take place entirely outdoors.
