Families, In the Community, Raptors
See the Raptors of Schlitz Audubon at Betty Brinn Children’s Museum during Betty BOO’s Spooktacular, a full day of fright-free family fun inspired by creatures of the night.
Our Raptor Team will present a program on owls from 1:00 to 2:00 pm during the event:
These seldom seen, silent winged hunters shine best when the sun goes down. Our feathered raptor staff model their special night hunting adaptations and some basic owl behaviors providing insights into their natural history. Wisconsin is home to a variety of native owls, each with its own special adaptations.
