Nature School Art Studio: Fairytale Creations
Explore the natural world through art! Children can explore, experiment, and take artistic risks to discover their own individual approach to artmaking.
We will take inspiration from our favorite fairytale stories and magical characters to craft creatures and worlds straight from our imaginations. Think gnome homes, princess castles, dragons caves, and fairy gardens. We will supply a variety of materials such as cardboard, paints, clay, and craft supplies and your young artist brings their imagination and creativity!
This program is hosted by the Nature School’s Artist in Residence, Abbey Finn. This series of programs offers Process Art experiences, which allow children to focus on the process of making art, rather than the finished product. It’s an open-ended, unstructured, and self-motivated way for children to explore materials, techniques, and self-expression.
The Gardens Outdoor Classroom will serve as our Art Studio with various stations for exploration of materials and processes. This is a drop-off program designed for children ages 4-6. Tickets are non-transferable.
Members: $25 per child | Non-members: $32 per child
