Guided Family Hike: Lake Michigan at Night

Discover the wonderful waters of Lake Michigan under a starry night sky with Environmental Educators Alison Schrad and Jim Thielke. On this all ages guided hike, we will climb the observation tower for an owl’s eye view before traveling down to the shoreline, learning about nocturnal wildlife on the way. At the beach, we will search for unique rocks and fossils, including glowing Yooperlites. Learn about Wisconsin’s nighttime nature as you experience our trails and shoreline like never before!

This program is designed for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This program will take place entirely outdoors. In case of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled to Thursday, November 12th at the same time.

Members: $12 per person | Non-Members: $18 per person
