Fireflies: Nature’s Fireworks

Whether you call them lightning bugs or fireflies, these bioluminescent beetles light up our summer nights. Join Environmental Educator Melanie Ziolecki to investigate why they flash and glow before we go on an excursion to their favorite spot. You will learn how to identify Wisconsin’s common species and get the chance see them up close. We will end the evening by enjoying fireside smore’s before you and the fireflies head to bed.

This program is designed for all ages, children and adults alike. Children must be accompanied by an adult; each child and adult require a ticket. This program will take place both indoors and outdoors.
