Creating Felt Nature Ornaments

Felting wool is a simple and fun craft that gives you the freedom to create 3D works of art. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of felting using custom patterns as well as how to create more felted works of art from your imagination. Together we’ll craft our own wool ornaments of mushrooms, birds, or other nature-inspired objects to decorate our homes with.

This workshop is led by Environmental Educator Cassie Rincon, who has been working alongside Rose Boulder Farm staff for years. Over the last few years, she has been felting with wool to create earrings, garlands, costume pieces, as well as using this craft to mend clothes.

This program will take place entirely indoors. All materials will be provided.
