Crafting for Conservation: Beach Litter Art

Sunday, August 24, 2025 | 10:00 am - 11:30 am

$35.00 – $50.00

,

Give Lake Michigan litter a second life—through art! Join Environmental Educators Alison Schrad and Melanie Ziolecki in upcycling materials collected from our beach into mosaic wall art. We will start with a beach hike to gather litter that we will add to our upcycled material collection. After the beach, we will return to the building and create our colorful masterpieces. Through this program, you will help beautify both our Lake Michigan shoreline and your own space with new artwork.

The maximum number per group is 6 people. This program is designed for all ages; children must be accompanied by an adult. This program takes place both indoors and outdoors.

Members: $35 per group of 6 or less | Non-Members: $50 per group of 6 or less
