Audubon Bird Club: Spring Migrants
Wednesday, May 14, 2025 | 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
FreeAdults, Birding, Clubs, Guided Hikes
Join a welcoming community of bird enthusiasts on the second Wednesday of the month. Anyone aged 14 and older who is interested in learning more about birds regardless of prior experience is welcome. You will learn and enhance identification skills from experienced birders.
Your host is Schlitz Audubon Environmental Educator Laine Cotteleer. Our co-host is Dan Panetti, owner of Wild Birds Unlimited in Mequon. They will lead a hike to search for spring migrants such as colorful and musical warblers, tanagers, buntings and more. We’ll explore the fields, woods and meadows to see who is active in the evening.
We will meet in front of the Visitor Center to begin our walk by the bird feeders.
This program will take place entirely outdoors.
Registration is required.
Free to all. Optional donation supports habitat preservation at the Center.
