Lapham Peak State Forest
Lapham Peak, part of the Kettle Moraine State Forest, marks the highest point in Waukesha County. Through this immersive experience, students will see the glacial landforms, left behind from the Ice Age, that this park helps protect. In the morning, students will explore a diverse variety of ecosystems including woods, prairie, and wetlands. In the afternoon, we will traverse some of the scenic sections of the Ice Age Trail. Biodiversity and glacial features will be highlighted.
