Kettle Moraine Snowshoe
The Northern and Southern Kettle Moraine forests contain some of the largest and highest quality wildlife habitats in southern Wisconsin. Winter boldly displays the habits and activities of wildlife, and with snowshoes strapped to their feet, students embark on an animal ecology exploration by examining the ubiquitous tracks and signs that winter creatures leave behind.
Schlitz Audubon supplies snowshoes. If snow cover is not sufficient for snowshoeing, this program can be done through hiking.
