Adventure with Your Senses
Our environment is full of multi-sensory experiences. Students actively engage their senses as they explore the Center’s property, making connections about the natural world. Students observe and interact with live animals, examine how the animal responds to its environment by using its senses. Through hands-on experiences, students explore some of our habitats while practicing using their senses the way animals do. Students listen to the sounds outdoors, smell plants, touch animal fur, and see the beauty around us – no matter what season!
