Tiny Hands Gardening: Seed Starter Kit
Art, Early Childhood, Families, Guided Hikes
All the flowers we see during spring and summer start with something small: a seed. The seed is the mightiest of all as it holds the entire life of the plant! Join Environmental Educator Melanie Ziolecki as we hit the trails to observe seeds left over from winter and then come inside to make our own seed starter kit for spring. We will learn which seeds need the most sun or shade to create the right seed mix for your garden space.
This program is designed for children aged 3 and older. Each child requires a ticket; children must be accompanied by an adult. One adult can accompany more than one child. This program will take place both indoors and outdoors.
