Nature has always been a great inspiration to artists, from pre-historic cave painters to contemporary artists. Art club is a bi-monthly program designed to offer nature inspired themes as you work at your own pace. Beginners and experienced artists are welcome to attend.

Our September program will focus on Lake Michigan. We will take a short hike to Lake Michigan and observe the water, rocks, and beach. After the hike, you can reflect on what inspires you the most and sketch away.

Your guide is Environmental Educator Shelly Rollins, who has a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Please bring your own sketchbook and art supplies. Some general supplies may be available as well as handouts related to the theme.

This program takes place both indoors and outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, the program will be indoors only.

Free to all. Registration is required. Optional donation supports habitat preservation at the Center.
