Raptor Saturday

Saturday, October 2, 2021 | 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Families, Free with Membership, Wheelchair Accessible, Raptors

As we enter into the Halloween season, now is the perfect time of year to learn about the spookiest raptors – owls! Though Wisconsin’s 11 owl species are well-loved, they are seldom seen in the wild. Our resident owl ambassadors will reveal the secrets of their specialized nocturnal hunting adaptations, how owls are unique amongst raptors, and what to look and listen for when searching for these mysterious nighttime predators.

Scheduled to appear: Perseus (Barred Owl), Tskili (Great Horned Owl), Tucker (Eastern Screech Owl), Athena (Barn Owl).

Because this program is weather dependent, we may need to cancel due to inclement weather.

This program will take place entirely outdoors at the Amphitheater – please plan your arrival time accordingly. Please read our current mask policy before participation.

Free with membership or admission.
