Managing Invasive Species at Home

Saturday, February 21, 2026 | 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
$35.00 – $45.00

An important part of creating a wildlife habitat in your backyard is maintaining biodiversity by managing plants that would otherwise dominate your yard. In this workshop, learn about different types of invasive species and the native species that they are commonly mistaken for. You will leave the workshop with new insights on what equipment and control techniques are most effective for your space.

This workshop is led by Director of Conservation Drew Shuster, who has been expertly managing and removing invasive species at the Center for over a decade.
