This hike, guided by Naturalist Aubrey Fulsaas, will follow the pages of Nature’s Best Hope: A New Approach to Conservation That Starts in Your Yard by Douglas W. Tallamy. In this book, Tallamy outlines his vision for conservation through realistic practices that empower everyone to make the planet a better place. By listening to and examining passages from the book, participants will learn how Schlitz Audubon focuses on conservation and what implementations they can take in their own lives.  

Copies of the book will be available in the gift store to purchase before or after the program but are not required.
