Lakeshore State Park

Join Director of Education Tom Finley in exploring this serene winter landscape along Milwaukee’s beautiful Lake Michigan shore. This one-mile hike will guide us through the trails of Lakeshore State Park and along the pier at nearby Discovery World. We will learn about the history of these more recent additions to downtown, and hopefully view winter ducks and other waterfowl out on the break wall. If snow is present, we should see many animal tracks and signs as well. 

This program will take place entirely outdoors and is not wheelchair accessible. The field trip begins and ends at Lakeshore State Park. No state park sticker is required. You will need to provide your own transportation to and from Lakeshore State Park. Further trip details will be emailed to registered participants prior to the trip.
