Evening Hike: Marks of a Mesopredator
Wednesday, August 20, 2025 | 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
$17.00 – $23.00
A mesopredator is a predator that tends to sit in the middle trophic level of a food web, including foxes, raccoons, and skunks. On this evening hike, you will learn about the different kinds of mesopredators that can be found in our area and discover strategies for living harmoniously with them. Along the trails, we will search for evidence left behind by these animals as we explore their natural habits.
Your guide for this evening hike is Environmental Educator Jim Thielke. He has studied Wisconsin mammals and their behaviors and has taught audiences of all ages about them.
This program will take place entirely outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, part of the program will take place indoors.
