Earth Week Beach Clean-Up
Adults, Citizen Science, Families, Free with Membership
Wrap up Earth Week by cleaning up the shores of Great Lake Michigan! Join Environmental Educator Alison Schrad as we look for litter on the beach. We’ll have the immediate impact of improving the health of Lake Michigan while also contributing to the Alliance for the Great Lakes’ Adopt-A-Beach Program by collecting data as citizen scientists!
This program is designed for all ages; children must be accompanied by an adult. This program will take place entirely outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled to Sunday, April 26 at the same time.
Free to all. Registration not required. Arrive at any time during the program and meet at the beach. Signs will direct participants from the parking lot to the program taking place along our Lake Michigan shoreline.
