Raptor ecologists face many conservation challenges. Environmental contamination, habitat loss, and climate change have the most dramatic effect on apex predators, making raptors strong indicators of overall ecosystem health. Schlitz Audubon Nature Center will bring some of our incredible resident birds, and together we’ll explore past and present conservation issues, major successes, and what everyday people can do to help these species.
