Conservation Hike: Human Impacts on our Land

On this hike, learn about how staff and volunteers care for the land by observing current and past projects. You will get a sneak peek at upcoming land management projects and gain overall insight into the Center’s future conservation plans. We will discuss the many invasive species management techniques and how they can be used in your own backyard.

This hike is led by Director of Conservation & Land Management Drew Shuster. He has been working on the land at Schlitz Audubon for 10 years, including working on the Stormwater Wetland & Ravine Restoration Project as well as leading the Bluff Pavilion Courtyard & Gardens project.

This program will take place entirely outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled to Sunday, September 28 at the same time.
