Nature has always been a great inspiration to artists, from pre-historic cave painters to contemporary artists working today. Art club is a bi-monthly program designed to offer nature inspired themes and let you work at your own pace. Beginners and experienced artists are welcome to attend.

Our May program will focus on spring wildflowers. We will take a short hike and learn to identify the spring wildflowers that are in bloom. After the hike you can find the flowers that inspire you most and sketch away.

Your guide is Environmental Educator Shelly Rollins, who has a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Please bring your own sketchbook and art supplies. Some general supplies may be available as well as handouts related to the theme. If there is inclement weather, we will stay inside for the entire program.

This program takes place both indoors and outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, the program will be indoors only.

Registration is required.

Free to all.
