Cleaver RFP
Schlitz Audubon Nature Center (SANC) is requesting proposals for professional services to complete the planning and design phases of a fish and wildlife restoration project for the Cleaver property, a 38.68-acre satellite property of SANC located at the southeast quadrant of the intersection of Brown Deer Road and the Milwaukee River.
This project is being federally funded through a Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) grant in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) to support fish and wildlife populations within the Milwaukee Estuary Area of Concern (AOC). The restoration of the property will result in the removal of invasive plant species and create approximately 38 acres of improved upland and aquatic habitats to support fish and wildlife species.
