November 8 – 10
As part of our mission to provide access to nature for all, including in winter, Schlitz Audubon is hosting a coat drive on Friday, November 8 – Sunday, November 10.
Drop off your old winter coats of any size (including adult sizes) at the donation bin near Schlitz Audubon’s entrance, then take a pair of family guest passes for two future visits to the Center. Whether you’re coming for a hike, or just want to contribute, we invite you to give your gently used winter coats in order to help keep kids and teens warm this winter.
Further Info
- Gently used and new coats in all sizes, from tots to adults, are appreciated.
- NO used hats, scarves, or mittens, please. You may include NEW hats, scarves, and mittens in your donation.
- All coats will be cleaned and distributed in Milwaukee-area schools by the Salvation Army.
If you’re already a member, pass along the gift of nature to someone else – a Schlitz Audubon family guest pass makes a great stocking stuffer. If you have any questions about this drive, please contact us.
