Twilight Hike
Sunday, July 19, 2020 | 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
$15 – $20Senior Ecologist Don Quintenz will lead you through the Center at a time that is not only beautiful and serene, but also alive with wildlife. We’ll look for deer and their fawns, coyotes and their young, and other mammals. We may see or hear birds that love dusk, such as swallows, swifts, nightjars, and nighthawks. We’ll visit some ponds and Mystery Lake to observe aquatic activity, including turtles foraging and frogs singing.
This program will begin in the parking lot and take place entirely outdoors. We will practice social distancing when we are able to, but because of the nature of small-group programming, it will not always be possible. For the health and safety of all, participants must wear a mask when you are within six feet of others. Please do not attend if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to the virus. See our latest COVID-19 updates here.
Members: $15 | Non-members: $20
