Have you ever wondered how birds know when it is time to migrate? Or how do they know where to go? How do some birds travel thousands of miles, twice a year? Avian migration is one of the most impressive phenomena on earth, and scientists are still uncovering its many mysteries. Join us and several of the hawks, falcons, and other birds from our raptor program for an hour all about migration in which we explore some of these questions in depth!

Scheduled to appear: Nicco (Broad-winged Hawk), Gimli (Eastern Screech Owl), Tallulah (Turkey Vulture), Willow (Northern Saw-whet Owl), and Valkyrie (Bald Eagle).

This program will take place in the Auditorium in our Visitor Center.

Free with membership or admission. Registration is not necessary.
