Putting the Garden to Bed

Wednesday, October 2, 2024 | 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

$17.00 – $23.00

Fall is in the air, witnessed in the frost appearing on our garden plants and on the rooftops of our homes. Wildlife all around us are preparing for the change of seasons, and our gardens need to get ready for the season, too. In this program, we’ll discuss maintenance for yards, gardens, and native plantings. You will learn about strategies for your landscape to help your garden sleep over winter and to also get a head start for spring.

The discussion will be led by our Horticulturist and Master Gardener, Sandy Manning. Sandy has a degree in Ornamental Horticulture and has been volunteering as a Master Gardener for over 20 years. She enjoys sharing plants and plant information.

Member: $17 | Non-Member: $23
