Evening Hike: Flower Moon

We will start our journey by wandering through the wildflowers, pausing to enjoy the nature around us. We’ll hike along the Central Wetlands Loop to look and listen for emerging frogs. As the sun sets and the Flower Moon begins to rise, we will make our way up our scenic tower for a stellar view of a moonlit Lake Michigan.

Your guide for this evening will be Environmental Educator Laine Cotteleer. She is an experienced naturalist who is passionate about sharing her knowledge of Wisconsin’s native flora and fauna.

This program will take place entirely outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled to Tuesday, May 13 at the same time. Please meet at the stone bench outside the Visitor Center to begin the hike.
