Evening Hike: Flower Moon

As the daylight fades, we will start our journey to wander through the wildflowers, stopping to pause and enjoy the nature around us. We’ll hike along the Central Wetlands Loop to look and listen for emerging frogs. As the sun begins to set and the Flower Moon begins to rise, we will make our way up our scenic tower for a stellar view of a moonlit Lake Michigan.

Your guide for this evening will be Environmental Educator Laine Cotteleer. She is an experienced naturalist who is passionate about sharing her knowledge of Wisconsin’s native flora and fauna.

This program will take place entirely outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled to Tuesday, May 13 at the same time. Please meet at the stone bench outside the Visitor Center to begin the hike.
