Monday, February 5, 2024 | 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

$17.00 – $23.00

,

Activity on the Sun varies in an 11-year cycle, and the peak is approaching fast. What should we watch for? Jim Hahn will teach us what causes this oscillation, what effect it has on the Earth, and how we can observe these effects as amateur astronomers with only simple equipment. Weather permitting, we will view the sky through telescopes after the presentation.

Members: $17 | Non-Members: $23
