Nature has always been a great inspiration to artists, from pre-historic cave painters to contemporary artists working today. Art Club meets every other month, providing a safe space to meet with other artists of all abilities in a welcoming community. At each meeting we will discuss different topics and offer nature inspired themes to inspire your creativity, while letting you work at your own pace. Beginners and experienced artists are welcome to attend.

In May we will focus on spring wildflowers. We will take a short hike and learn to identify the spring wildflowers that are in bloom. After the hike you can find the flowers that inspire you most and sketch away.

Please bring your own sketchbook and art supplies. Some general supplies may be available as well as hand outs related to the theme. If there is inclement weather, we will stay inside for the entire program.

Your guide is Shelly Rollins, Education Specialist at Schlitz Audubon with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Free to all. Optional donation supports habitat preservation at the Center. Registration required.
